THE LITTLE GODS

The Little Gods began as a Bleach fanfic that ran from 2009 to 2018 called The Echo Series, and there are several elements from it that have crossed into TLG—particularly events that happen to the character Igni in Album Two.

The first book, Album Zero, begins a tetralogy of "concept albums" that take the form of novels. Heavily inspired by the metalhead and rivethead subcultures, this influence extends beyond the series' mere aesthetic: each book is structured like a music album, with individual chapters presented as tracks.

It combines manga-inspired adventure, original music-inspired cultures, deep mythopoeic worldbuilding, morally challenging characters, and an overarching story that reaches far beyond what the characters initially perceive.

The series follows the four characters known as the Monkey, the Raven, the Snake, and the Owl. Together, they uncover the true history of their broken, feudal world, confront truths that have been buried for millennia, and ultimately become capable of changing Rejiseä's course—

Whether they want to or not.
